Backed by Invest Oman, the program provides two flexible investment tiers that allow entrepreneurs, property buyers, and high-net-worth individuals to live and do business in the Sultanate under long-term residency permits.
Tier One – 10-Year Investor Residency
To qualify for Oman’s Tier One Investor Visa, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Invest OMR 500000 or more in:
A. A limited liability company (LLC)
B. A public joint-stock company
C. Omani government bonds
Or:
A. Purchase real estate worth OMR 500000 or more
B. Establish a company employing 50 or more Omani nationals
Validity: 10 years (renewable)
Visa fee: OMR 551
Tier Two – 5-Year Investor Residency
The Tier Two option is ideal for mid-sized investors and retirees already residing in Oman. Applicants must:
A. Invest at least OMR 250000 in an LLC or joint-stock company
B. Purchase real estate worth OMR 250000
C. Retirees must show a monthly fixed income of OMR 4000 or more
Validity: 5 years (renewable)
